Meet our Management Team
Alberto Garibi
President & CEO
Alberto Garibi has over twenty years of engineering, product management, sales and general management experience in municipal, industrial and commercial water treatment serving in companies such as Siemens Water Technologies (Evoqua), PeroxyChem (Evonik) and Watts Water Technologies. Alberto has led the successful introduction of several technologies into the water space including UV disinfection, on-site hypochlorite generation, peracetic acid wastewater disinfection, and specialty filtration media. He has published several articles and collaborated in several water disinfection handbooks. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from ITESO in Guadalajara, Mexico, an MS in Environmental Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and an MBA from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ.
Philip Block, Ph.D.
Technology Director, Chemical Solutions
Philip Block, PhD has over thirty years of industrial product and market development experience in the areas of water treatment and peroxygen chemistries, serving in companies such as FMC, Peroxychem and Evonik. He has been instrumental in developing soil and groundwater in situ remediation of contaminants of concern and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment technologies, especially in the field of municipal wastewater disinfection. He is a member of the Water & Environment Federation, participating in the Disinfection and Public Health committee and is a WEF technical practice leader in wastewater disinfection. He has published numerous articles and book chapters and is an inventor on eleven granted patents. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.
Kent Henry, Ph.D.
Technology Director, Global Services
Kent Henry, PhD has over thirty years of research, product development and deployment in water treatment and analytical instrumentation. He started his career in Hewlett Packard in California, but became a serial entrepreneur involved in a number of technology companies developing instrumentation technology for military and marine applications. He acquired the Electrichlor technology and adapted it to numerous applications including municipal water and wastewater disinfection while building a team in Laramie, WY. Kent has published numerous articles and is an inventor on 25 patents. He earned a BS in Chemistry from Lebanon Valley College in PA, an MS in Analytical Chemistry and a PhD in Physical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
David Shekhtman
Technology Director, Engineered Systems
David Shekhtman has over ten years of project and applications engineering, engineering management and operations management in the energy and water treatment spaces. Serving in companies such as Solar Turbines and UGSI Solutions, David has led engineering and operations teams delivering hypochlorite generation systems around the world for municipal and industrial applications. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA.
David Mack
Human Resources Director
David Mack has over thirty years of talent management experience serving in several industries that include water technologies, manufacturing, chemicals, and healthcare, and has led teams in world class companies such as GE and the Aramark Corporation. He began his professional career serving as an U.S. Army Officer on active duty. David specializes in talent management, organizational design and development, employee relations, and building culture. David holds a BS in Psychology and History from the University of Cincinnati and an MS in Human Resource Management from Chapman University in Orange, CA.
Michale Saine
Controller
Michale Saine has over ten years of accounting and financial management experience in multiple sectors including consumer, service and manufacturing. She specializes in financial reporting and auditing. She holds an MS in Accounting from DeVry University in Atlanta, GA.
